As we age, ptosis of the brows, upper eyelids, and periorbital tissues become more prominent. Non-surgical interventions play a role in addressing these concerns by elevating the eyebrow and simultaneously opening up the are area, therefore rejuvenating the overall appearance of the eyes.
Our non-surgical treatment options involve the use of muscle relaxant products that block neurotransmittierss that effectively reduce muscle contraction around the eye area and forehead which will intern, result in a more lifted eyebrow and open up the whole eye region.
Generally, after the first few sessions, the results last around two months. However, after regular treatments, the results can last longer because the treated muscles have been retrained.
If you cease the treatments, your muscles will return to normal, and your wrinkles will return to their previous state—they do not become worse.
Normal activities can be resumed soon after your treatment. However, you should avoid strenuous exercise or massaging the area for the first 24 hours after treatment.
Every non-surgical procedure involves a certain amount of risk, and it is important that you understand these risks and the possible complications associated. These symptoms can happen hours to weeks after injection and are more likely to occur in patients treated with high doses or who have underlying conditions that would predispose to the above.
