A BIO LIFT™ is a type of Breast Lift surgery that uses a breast implant alone to provide ‘lift” to a breast. Although it has a horizontal incision mark in the crease of the breast (similar to a standard Breast Augmentation), it does not have the extensive scarring or costs typically associated with a conventional Breast Lift procedure. As the surgery is less invasive than a traditional Breast Lift, it also has fewer chances of complications and a shorter recovery time.
A BIO LIFT™ is performed in a private hospital under general anaesthesia. The procedure typically takes between one and three hours.
This procedure is suitable for individuals who have breasts that have ‘deflated’ (lost volume), but are not excessively droopy. They would like more volume in their breasts, and are prepared to accept some droopiness. Ideal candidates should also be in good mental and physical health, understand all risks and potential complications of the procedure and have realistic expectations regarding their surgical outcomes.
